Open for online ordering

Understand what makes your venue live, and how you switch ordering on and off.

There is no single "go live" button. Your venue is open for ordering once a few things are true, and you control the flow day to day with two simple toggles.

What makes diners able to order

  • Your venue is approved.
  • Card payments are set up (Settings -> Subscription shows "Payment setup is complete").
  • You have a menu with items In Stock, and tables with Active QR codes.

When those are in place, a diner who scans a table QR can browse and order. Run the pre-launch checklist to confirm.

Turn ordering on and off

You control ordering from the Orders screen with two toggles:

  1. Go to Service -> Orders.
  2. Use Accepting food orders and Accepting drink orders.

Leave both on for normal trade. You can pause one without the other, which is handy when one section gets slammed. See Use rush control to pause food or drinks.

How to know it worked

With both toggles on and your setup complete, a test scan of a table QR opens an orderable menu. See Preview your ordering page to check the flow safely.
