Work the Bar view

Use the drink-only queue to pour through orders fast.

The Bar view is a stripped-back queue showing only tickets with drinks. It is built for speed at the bar: each card has one button to push the drink forward, and cards change colour as they age so nothing sits too long.

Who can do this

This needs the View Orders permission, plus Manage Order Status to advance drinks. Venue owners have both.

Use it​

  1. Go to Service -> Bar.
  2. Each drink ticket shows its table and items.
  3. Use the button on the card to push it forward: Accept, then Mark ready, then Served.

The queue moves forward only. To cancel a drink, use the full Orders screen instead.

Read the colours​

Cards are colour-coded by how long they have been waiting, so the oldest tickets stand out: a calm colour when fresh, amber after a couple of minutes, and red once a ticket is getting late.

Put it on a wall display​

Click the monitor-mode button (tooltip Monitor mode (great on a bar wall display)) to go fullscreen on a screen behind the bar. Use Exit monitor mode to come back.

How to know it worked​

Drink tickets appear in the Bar view as orders come in, and advancing a card here moves the same order on the main Orders screen too.
