Display your table QR codes

View each table's QR code and get one onto every table for diners to scan.

Every table has its own unique QR code. A diner scans it with their phone camera to open your menu for that exact table. No app needed.

Who can do this

This needs the Manage Tables permission. Venue owners have it automatically.

View a table's QR code

  1. Go to Operations -> Tables.
  2. Open the table. The QR Code panel shows that table's code, whether it is active, and how many times it has been scanned recently.

Get a code onto every table

The tidiest way to put QR codes on your tables is to order printed QR discs from Tapimo. They arrive ready to place on each table, and you assign a disc to a table by tapping Scan QR sticker and scanning it. See Operations -> Table Hardware to design and order them.

Manage a table's code

On the table's QR Code panel you can:

  • Disable QR Code: turn a code off so scans show an error. Use Enable QR Code to turn it back on.
  • Regenerate QR Code: create a brand new code. Any code you have already printed for that table stops working, so you will need to replace it.

How to know it worked

The table's QR status shows Active, and the scan count rises the first time someone scans it.

Troubleshooting

A diner scanned an old code If you regenerated a table's code, old printed codes show an "out of date" message. Replace them with the current code.

A scan shows an error Check the table's QR status is Active, not Disabled.
