What happens right after you register
A quick map of what comes next, so you know the order to do things in.
When you register, your venue is created and sent to the Tapimo team for a quick review. Until it is approved, your dashboard is locked. See Why your new venue says "Pending approval".
Once you are approved, your dashboard unlocks and a Finish setting up your venue card appears on it. That card tracks the few steps left before you can take orders. You can work through it in any order, but most venues go like this:
The path to going live
- Turn on card payments. You cannot take orders until this is done. See Turn on card payments.
- Pick a plan or start a trial. See Understand your subscription plan.
- Brand your ordering page (optional). Add your logo, colours and fonts. See Upload your logo and cover image.
- Build your menu. Create categories, then add your items. See Create your menu categories.
- Set up your space. Add your tables and get a QR code on each one. See Add your tables.
- Go live. Run the final checks and open for ordering. See Are you ready to go live?.
How to know it worked
Your dashboard shows the Finish setting up your venue card with your progress (for example, 3 / 6). Each step you complete ticks off automatically.
