Collect diner feedback
Ask diners to rate their visit after they pay, and turn happy ones into Google reviews.
When feedback is on, a diner is asked for a quick star rating on the confirmation screen. A happy diner is nudged towards leaving you a Google review; an unhappy one triggers an instant alert so you can put it right before it becomes a public review.
Feedback is on Growth plans and above. If you do not see a Diner feedback section in Venue Settings, or Feedback under Guests, your plan does not include it yet. Venue owners set it up.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings -> Venue Settings.
- Find the Diner feedback section.
- Turn on Collect feedback after payment.
- Click Save changes.
Send happy diners to Google
In the same Diner feedback section, paste your Google Place ID into the field. This sends 4 and 5 star diners straight to your Google review page. Find it with the Google Maps Place ID finder. Leave it blank to skip the Google prompt.
How to know it worked
The toggle hint reads "Diners see a quick star rating on the confirmation screen." After diners start rating, their feedback appears under Guests -> Feedback. See Read and reply to feedback.
