Set up a stamp card

Run a "collect N, get a reward" card, like buy 9 coffees and get the 10th free.

A stamp card rewards repeat visits. You choose how a stamp is earned, how many fill a card, and what the reward is. Tapimo writes the diner-facing wording from your choices, so it always matches your settings.

Who can do this

This needs the Manage Venue Loyalty permission. Venue owners have it automatically. It is part of the loyalty feature; if you do not see Loyalty under Marketing, your plan does not include it yet.

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing -> Loyalty and find the Stamp program toggle. Turn it on.
  2. Choose How a stamp is earned: per item bought, per order, per day visited, or per amount spent.
  3. Set how many stamps fill a card (the label matches your choice, for example Items per card or Orders per card).
  4. Narrow which purchases count if you want, using the qualifying-items field (for example, only coffees earn a stamp).
  5. Choose The reward: a free item, a percentage off, an amount off, or bonus points. Fill in the reward details that appear (for a free item, pick which items it can be claimed against).
  6. Set When it can be redeemed (same visit, next day, or after a number of days) and an optional Expires after (days).
  7. Click Save changes.
Stop diners gaming a per-order card

If you earn a stamp per order, a diner could split one visit into several small orders. Set a Minimum order to count or a Cooldown between stamps, or earn per day visited instead. Tapimo warns you about this on the screen.

How to know it worked

The preview on the screen shows the exact card heading diners will see. If anything is incomplete, the screen lists what still needs setting before you can save.
